January Feels

With the holidays now well in the past and January into full force I have taken some time of reflection over the past couple days and thought I would send out a quick up date!

Our December was off to a slow start, which was to be expected with us being a new business and the snow fall levels being exceptionally low. But the holidays came with fresh snow and our phone ringing off the hook! Huge huge thank you to everyone who has spread the word and helped us with this new adventure!

We had riders come from Red Deer, Calgary, Vernon, Pritchard, Vancouver, and Grand Prairie.

We loved meeting everyone and got our first time rental experience jitters out of the way!

January has given us a bit of room to breath. But we are hopeful that these snowfall "warnings" are true and we can see some fresh stuff back in our powder room over the next few days.

As for our machines, we have come to feel as if they are our children. Well I have anyways, must be that mothering instinct as I am weirdly proud of them. We have had the opportunity for a couple days of play on them ourselves over the holidays. They are fast, fun, smooth, snappy and just over all an amazing ride.

One of our renters was a first time Snowmobiler and she killed it. It was amazing to watch her throughout the day become one with the machine. You really bond when you are digging a 460lb machine out of 6ft of snow... But in the end we were all smiles.

We are thankful for the wonderful experiences we have had so far and we are super excited to see what the new year has in store!

Quick side note: Be careful out there right now riders as the Avalanche rating is high. Make sure you do your research before heading out in the backcountry.

avalanche.ca is a great site with up to date info.
